Semiconductor companies are Fabless because of the high cost for
a company to build their own manufacturing fab so these companies
concentrate on the design and marketing of chips and outsource
the production to larger Foundry Companies
like Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM) and Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing
(CHRT). Most of the stocks on the Semiconductor
List are fabless. Here are some of the best of that group
in the opinion of Technology Investor Magazine.
